Title: TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY 'THE ULTIMATE EDITION' DVD Cover (B)
Date: 12/2003
Medium: Digital Art
Size: 3240 x 2175 pixels at 300dpi
Custom DVD Cover Info:
Movie: TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (1991)
DVD: 2000
Case: Double
In honor of the 20th anniversary of TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, released in theaters nationwide on July 3rd in 1991, here's a custom DVD cover I made awhile ago to replace the officially-approved studio cover.
This was made for the 'Ultimate Edition' DVD release of the film in 2000, which came in a silver double-disc Amaray case.
For the front portion the official title logo and created the silver background for the entire cover using the 'gradient' tool and 'noise' filter in Photoshop, and also custom-made the bullet holes from scratch. For the spine and back I've utilized various elements from magazine pics, official artwork, images found on the net, and so forth.
A more few alternate versions using a different back cover:
