My first foray into experimenting with actual animation(ahem....that's "moving pictures" for you old-timers out there). It's a pretty basic and simple animation of Raiden, one of the characters from Mortal Kombat that I used to be a big fan of back in the day. I did a lot of anime style drawings of the characters and so I wanted the anime look for this piece.

For the most part this is a drawing, forty-three frames to be exact. Actually I only drew the head forty-three different times since that was the only part that would be in motion, I only had to draw one body. It was all scanned and composited together in Photoshop. Electricity and the glow of the eyes were also added digitally, those are the only parts though. I saved each pic as a GIF file and linked them all together in a GIF animation program I had downloaded.

And voila! Instant animation.
