Title: Ghostbusters II DVD Cover (B)
Date: 02/2005 Medium: Digital Art Size: 3240 x 2175 pixels at 300dpi Custom DVD Cover Info: Movie: Ghostbusters II(1989) DVD: 1999 Case: Single In honor of the 25th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters movie, and the 20th anniversary of its less-than-stellar sequel released on June 16th in 1989, here's a custom DVD cover I made for Ghostbusters II awhile ago to replace the god-awful officially-approved studio cover. For the front and spine portions I used the original no-ghost logo from the trailer and the film's opening scene, NOT the official logo used on all the promotional merchandising where some art guy screwed up and left out the ghost's second leg. I've also used the official DVD title logo for this one, which uses "2" instead of "II". For the back I've utilized various elements from magazine pics, official artwork, images found on the net, screencaps, and so forth. |
