Title: Ghostbusters II DVD Cover (A) Date: 02/2005 Medium: Digital Art Size: 3240 x 2175 pixels at 300dpi
Custom DVD Cover Info:
Movie: Ghostbusters II(1989) DVD: 1999 Case: Single
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters movie, and the 20th anniversary of its less-than-stellar sequel released on June 16th in 1989, here's a custom DVD cover I made for Ghostbusters II awhile ago to replace the god-awful officially-approved studio cover.
For the front portion I used the original poster artwork of the main cast and the official movie title logo. For the spine and back I've utilized various elements from magazine pics, official artwork, images found on the net, screencaps, and so forth.
This cover is even better than the previous 2 (although the movie isn't as good as the first one.)
There is one fault however, at least in my opinion. The running time should be in bigger letters and displayed in hours instead of minutes. This is a common fault in dvd-covers in my opinion.

I've uploaded a slightly revised version of all of these covers to correct a few things(jaggedy text) and overall clean it up a bit.
Now I think they're where they need to be as far as finished.
I hear ya about the running time, perhaps it's someting I'll keep in mind for another version.
